Hello Everyone from Rob Golda,
On Sunday, 9/18/11, 10am-5pm, we will be sponsoring the HURON RIVER CIRCLE event at Oakwoods Metro Park/Nature Center. All types of scheduled activities through out the day, at the Park and Nature Center.
There will be guided Hikes, Voyager Canoes on the Huron River, with Campfire vittles going most of the day. Featured at the Nature Center will be the Huron River Flute Circle. Native Flutes and Drums displays and playing in the afternoon. We will even move some of the sounds outside if weather permits.
Late in the afternoon, there will more guided Hikes along with some special GPS Geocaching Hikes, in the Nature area.
Come out and join us for a fun filled day at Oakwoods Metro Park. Everything is Free, for the price of a Metro Parks sticker. Use this address 32911 Willow Road, New Boston MI 48164 for the location of this event. (The address on the Metro Parks web site is for their Administrative offices, and they are not located at the Park.) Hope to see you all there!
