On Sunday, October 17, the Washtenaw Wanderers will host their annual colorwalk at the Leslie Science and Nature Center, 1831 Traver Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, (734) 997-1553. The 10K (6.3 miles) route follows scenic nature trails for approximately 7K and is rated a 3 on a scale of 1-5 (1 being easiest). The 5K (3.1 miles) route is also quite scenic. Park on the lawn in the lower field and start your walk on the front porch of the "Leslie House" between the hours of 10am-1pm. Walk Howell Michigan members will meet at the site at 10 a.m. Walk for free, or for American Volkssport Association Credit Only ($3), or for this year's National Volkssport Month Patch ($7).
